For any of you that don't know, I have terminal cancer. I'm going to live life the best I can. Forgive me if I get emotional or say things that may offend you.
This is me. take me or leave me. If I look at someones profile pics its because I care about that person and wonder how they are. If I send you a message its because I like you and I want to be your friend. I don't have to prove myself to anyone but God.
If I am to far out there, I'm. sorry I don't fit smoothly in your life. I'm a good and loyal friend, but I wont be here forever.

Jim, the majority of those of us who care to respond to your posts really care about you, and the others who don't? Well, they can just go pound sand since they obviously have no idea who you are.
ReplyDeleteAfter having spent MANY weeks with you on a full-time basis while we went to school, I am proud to call you a friend, patriot, and fellow military veteran (even though you spent FAR much more time in uniform that I did). AFAIC, you are a TRUE patriot, having given much of your life in the service of this great nation!
If and when you make it back out here to San Diego, I'd be honored to share a meal or even a drink with you.
It's a well known FACT that NONE of us get out of here alive, so it's only a matter of when and how that we depart this world and head off to the next. Christ is preparing a seat for you, one of the GOOD GUYS, and for that, you have no reason to be afraid. After all, it's a door that we ALL must pass through, there are NO exceptions, and I only request that when your time is near, that you feel no pain and those you love understand deep in their souls how you feel about them and the depth of your love for them.
Everything else is icing on the cake.
So, come on down to San Diego, and if and when you get down south and east by Santee, Lakeside, El Cajon, and other environs, PLEASE give me a call so we can get together and I'll be more than happy to buy you dinner (and it won't be at McDonalds! LOL!!). Hell, since my wife doesn't like seafood, perhaps we should head out to Point Loma seafoods (http://www.pointlomaseafoods.com/)! I'll buy you dinner, sushi, fish plate, scallops, shrimp, lobster (if in season) - whatever, just come down so we can have a good time!
